Applications

Blueberries, cherries and table grapes (All states except California).
Apply at a rate of 0.5 to 2.7 gallons (1.15 to 6.18 lbs. a.i.) per acre. Apply mixture with a commercial or back-pack sprayer, hand-held hose or pressurized applicator or with aircraft. Begin applications when fruit begins to ripen or birds begin feeding on crop. Thoroughly wet all fruit and foliage until solution runs off surfaces. Apply every 6 to 8 days or when odor can not be detected. Repeat as necessary to maintain repellency. Harvest 6 to 8 days after last treatment or after all odor or taste of the product has dissipated (whichever occurs last). Do not apply this product to wet surfaces.

California Only.
Mixer/handlers and air blast applicators must wear coveralls over normal work clothes and not prepare spray solutions using more than 50 gallons of concentrate per day. Harvesters must wear gloves and long sleeved shirts. Blueberries and cherries: Apply at a rate of 0.5 to 1.0 gallon (1.15 to 2.29 lbs. ai) per acre. Table grapes: Apply at a rate of 0.5 gallons (1.15 lbs. ai) per acre.

New York Only
Aerial application is prohibited. This product is not to be used on grapes within Suffolk County.

Corn, (including sweet corn & popcorn).
Apply at a rate of one pint of concentrate (0.28 lbs. ai.) per acre by air. Begin application 10 days before harvest when crop begins to ripen or birds begin feeding. Reapply at 5-day intervals until harvest. Harvest 5 days after last treatment.

Sunflowers.
Apply at a rate of one pint of concentrate (0.28 lbs. ai.) per acre including adjacent roosting areas by air. Begin application when birds begin feeding on the crop. Repeat as necessary to maintain repellency. Harvest 7 days after last treatment. Replant 22 days after application.

Rice (including white and wild).
Apply at a rate of one pint of concentrate (0.28 lbs. ai.) per acre by air. Begin application 30 days before harvest when crop begins to ripen or birds begin feeding. Do not soak seed in the repellent. Apply to flooded fields. Keep water in fields until seed is fully germinated..

Apples.
Apply at a rate of ½ gallon of concentrate (1.145 lbs. ai) per acre by air or ground sprayer. Begin application approximately 15 days prior to harvest when birds begin feeding. Reapply at 7 day intervals as needed until harvest. Harvest 6 to 8 days after last treatment or after all odor or taste of the product has dissipated (whichever occurs last).

Non-fish bearing bodies of water, temporary pools associated with airports and decorative fountains.
Add 1 to 2 parts of concentrate per 400 parts of water in the body of water [2-4 gal (4.58 - 9.16 lbs. ai.)/100 cubic feet (750 gallons) of water]. Estimate the volume of standing water by considering the depth, length, width and shape of pool and using appropriate mathematical formulas. Calculate the amount of concentrate needed to treat the pool within the prescribed rate range. Add undiluted concentrate directly to entire pool surface until the appropriate amount has been applied. Reapply at 3 to 4 week intervals if necessary to maintain repellency.

New York only
This product may only be used on non-fish-bearing bodies of water and temporary pools of standing water on paved areas or construction sites at or near airports.
