Solar Power Panels convert sunlight into electricity. A wire sequentially conducts this electricity to the 12v battery. Electricity is then used directly from batteries, to power DC (direct current) appliances like your Bird Control Pro repeller.
5-Watt Solar Panel details:
The 5-Watt Solar Panel comes with a battery cable with red (positive) and black (negative) alligator clips at the end for attachment to a 12 volt battery and a power plug to connect to the Bird Gard unit. The kit also includes a mounting bracket and hardware to attach the solar panel to a post or pole. The solar panel will keep the 12 volt battery charged, but will not supply sufficient power to the unit without a battery.
Specifications
- Rated Power: 5 Watts
- Current: 0.3 amps
- Dimensions: 20" x 9" x 1"
- Shipping Weight: 4 pounds / 1.81 kg

The kit also includes a mounting bracket and hardware to attach the solar panel to a post or pole. The solar panel will keep the 12 volt battery charged, but will not supply sufficient power to the unit without a battery.

Special Note
You must purchase a 12v DC battery in order to utilize our Solar Panels. These panels can only charge the battery: they cannot power the repellers directly. A deep cycle, marine type battery is recommended. Good Life does not currently supply batteries.
Literature
NOTE: All bird control methods prove more effective when different types of products are used in combination. Visual scare devices such as Rainbow Tape, Terror Eyes and Prowler Owl bird repellers deter birds in a multi-sensory assault. Contact us to describe your bird situation and one of our professionals will be glad to assist you.
